If you read IGN64's story yesterday (8/19/99), you'd know the truth. Gaiden is another "joke" game, like Link's Awakening (by "joke" I mean that it doesn't expand the Zelda story beyond fantasy/strange elements). I was very disappointed to find out that Gaiden will not explain the holes. Instead, it starts out with Link, as a kid, following a Stalkid into a portal and ending up in a strange land, where the moon threatens to crash into the planet, destroying it. This land is like a twisted version of Hyrule, (probably not like the Dark World though, although that is a possibility). In my opinion, they should have set the story in the time when Ganon steals the other two Triforce pieces, Zelda is put to sleep, and the Master Sword is transferred to the Lost Woods. Oh well, looks like we'll have to wait until a Zelda game comes out for the Dolphin. -David Butler
