Zelda is Rika because they're both extremely smart for their age (okay so Rika has lived the same few weeks over and over so she's about a hundred, but she's still young in appearance).
Midna is Hanyuu because both of them are pretty much just shadows/spirits that only one person can really see (Midna is a shadow seen only by Link in the light realm, Hanyuu is a spirit that only Rika can see), and because having Midna be a god is really cool!
