Arunma on the canonicity of the map included with LoZ (3/14/02): ---------------------------------------------------------------- If we were to consider the canonicity of this thing to be equal to that of a player's guide, I think we'd have to start questioning the validity of an instruction manual. What makes a manual canon? It's in the box. And moreover, it pertains to the game. More simplistically I'm asking that if we can't trust a box's contents, what can we trust? I agree with Masamune that everything in the game box should be considered canon, except for advertisements of course. Anything in the box that is pertinent to the game's storyline, setting, or gameplay should indeed be considered as canonical as either an instruction manual, or the game itself.
