Zelda News: Wii Zelda for 2010

Posted by on Jan 7, 2010. 6 comments
It has been confirmed by Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata, it's been confirmed that the new wii Zelda will be coming out sometime in 2010. It will also be shown at this year's E3. But unlike some of you, I'm not going to get my hopes up, it might get delayed. But we will see what's new at E3 2010.

Update: It's that time again...

Posted by on Dec 25, 2009
Time for presents, and we have plenty!
First off, we have new chapters for the Phantom Hourglass manga. Not only Anime Council has released the third chapter, GlitterBerri also has picked up translating the manga and offered us her scanlations which go all the way to the end! You can find both scanlations here.

Lastly over at The BS Zelda Homepage after ten long years of work, we can finally say that the games have been restored into being as close to the way it originally was as possible. The only things that are still missing are the voice acting and CD quality music, but we re-enabled the SNES hardware music and recreated intro and ending sequences with on-screen transcriptions of the voice acting for those parts (and some others as well), well enough to fully appreciate the story. If that has sparked your interest then head over to The BS Zelda Homepage and find out the details :)

Update: Aonuma Listens

Posted by on Nov 19, 2009. 26 comments
Well apparently someone has been listening to everyone arguing and fighting over the girl behind Link saying she's a Fairy or his sword. Those who said she's his sword. Are correct.

"You will have to wait until next year when we can elaborate on this and many other things. But what I can tell you is that yes I have read some of the speculation, and some of it is right! That is all I can say at the moment." - Eiji Aonuma

Well at least that's the end of that fight, it's confirmed that she is his sword. Wonder how she'll look or if she transforms into his sword.... we'll have to wait for some more information.

Update: Zelda Wii: More Information

Posted by on Nov 19, 2009. 4 comments
I found this on Zelda Informer,

Official Nintendo Magazine is giving us a lot of tidbits lately, and this time around they got to interview Eiji Aonuma and talk about Zelda Wii. What did Aonuma have to say this time around?

When asked how different the new Zelda title will be when it arrives on Wii next year, Aonuma replied: "It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise."

"So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time. I am really hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version."

Aonuma also confirmed that alongside full MotionPlus support, we'll be able to see more of what his team have been working on at next year's E3. "I hope that we can show you something at the E3 show next year and it is something we are hopeful will be surprising," he added.

So what changes are we going to see when the Zelda Wii comes out? We'll have to wait to see about that at E3 2010 next year. Hopefully they might give use a date when it will come out. but, I think we might have to wait, they might delay it then again they may not. Who knows.

Update: Another Update

I just got home and saw my Game Informer Magizne on my desk and I looked up into it and saw this. The girl behind Link is a fairy not the master sword, here's the important part. Who is the mysterious girl? What significance does her necklace hold? How annyoing will the fairy be this time around?

That's all that's in the magazing for now friends, let us keep looking and read on about more Zelda info.
