Yes, it was on January 1, 1999 that I launched the original "Legends of Zelda." The fact that we are still around speaks to the amazing staying power of the Zelda series, and the dedication of its fans. Congratulations!

I was looking around some Zelda sites and found this....

Recently Edge magazine sat down and interviewed the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto, the head honcho behind most of Nintendo's franchises and The Legend of Zelda. During their time with the videogame designer they discussed various subjects - but mostly the core-gamer hated Wii Music. During this interview, Miyamoto stated again that the next Zelda game is currently being worked on, but he can't go into any further details. Today the whole Zelda community celebrates a very important event. Today, 23rd November, 2008, we officialy celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ocarina of Time, the greatest game of all times (According to the opinion of much, but not some)!

Our server got hacked on Tuesday, not quite sure what the vulnerability that caused it was. Since this happened twice before in the last month and each attempt at securing the server failed, I had no choice but to get a whole reinstall setup and restore the websites from backup. Hopefully we're safe now!

Update: English Manga!

Hey y'all. You know those scanlated manga pages Zelda Legends host for you? Well the first volume of the Ocarina of Time manga adaptation has been licensed, and will be released in North America on October 7th. For legal reasons, then, we shall remove our scanlated version, and try and do the same in accordance with all manga releases. I hope you enjoyed the scanlations while we had them, but thanks for buying the manga and supporting our favorite series. You ARE going to buy, right? :D

Finally, good news for NDS fans! Nintendo is releasing a new version of the DS with new features and improvements of old ones! Update: All that cool description of the new DS is fake, and actually belongs to a new PSP which is going to be released...

Update: Fan Art Gallery fixed

Shockingly, uploads have been broken in the Fan Art Gallery for several months now. Once again, the complaints didn't work their way all the way up to me, so I was blissfully unaware there was a problem. Anyway, the problem is fixed now so please resume uploading!

Update: Ongoing Story updates

In yet another shocking revelation, I discovered that the Ongoing Story section was backlogged with unapproved stories since January 2007. This unfortunate situation has been rectified, and now 12 new stories are available for your creative little imaginations to continue!

I also noticed that only the latest 10 stories were displaying. I have fixed it so it now displays all the stories.

If anyone is interested in moderating the Ongoing Story section, please let me know.
